Vt. Library Association’s 125th Annual Conference

From the Vt. Library Association’s 125th Annual Conference Program:

Poet and hospice activist Pam MacPherson, with library director Margaret Woodruff, will share a framework for facilitating small group discussion based on the book, “Walking Each Other Home: Conversations on Loving & Dying.” Taken from Ram Dass’s quote, “We are all just walking each other home,” this book shows us “how death gives us an unparalleled opening to cultivate gratitude, compassion, mindfulness, and an abiding joy in the simple beauty of living.”  Community response has been so positive that Charlotte Public Library, with Pam MacPherson as facilitator for the sessions, has repeated this four week discussion group three times this Spring!
